Let's make it easy this time. All you have to do this time is post a comment on this post with your reading accomplishments for the summer. Tell us what books you've read, what you liked the best, maybe even tell us what books you reviewed and link them if you can. If not, just be sure to leave your blog address so we can go find them. You have until the end of Friday, July 9th to post your comment.
For example:

Even though I finished THE NIGHT IS FOR HUNTING by John Marsden (the 6th book in the TOMORROW Series), I didn't write the review until June.
THE NIGHT IS FOR HUNTING by John Marsden (AUDIO)
I just finished THE OTHER SIDE OF DAWN by John Marsden and I still need to write the review.
Currently, I'm reading two books.
THE PASSAGE by Justin Cronin - I'm on Chapter 20 which is 36% of the way finished.
SISTER WIFE by Shelley Hrdlitschka - I'm on Chapter 5.
I'm listening to:
WHILE I LIVE by John Marsden (Book 1 in the Ellie Chronicles)
Your turn. Remember, just post a comment.
The quickest way to see what I have read so far this summer is to check my LibraryThing Summer Reading Thread. I have reviewed all of the books there on either Inside of a Dog or Ms. Martin Teaches Media. I just finished listing book #40. I'm currently reading The Accidental Werewolf by Dakota Cassidy. I seem to be on an adult book run. I had been trying to alternate adult and YA and throw in the occasional MG book.

ReplyDeleteThere's mine! :) Lots of people are reading The Passage this summer.
And I loved John Marsden growing up. Might be time for a re-read myself!
The books I've read since summer started are: Vampire Diaries Book#1 and 2- L.J. Smith, Everlasting- Angie Frazier, and Sookie Stackhouse books #1-6. I just reviewed Wildthorn- Jane Eagland and I'm currently reading Rising Shadow.

The others I've read are: This is Me from Now On, Goop Soup, Summer at Tiffany, A Room with a View, Anastasia's Secret, and Sea Smoke. Reviews can be found in my archives or by author on my review page.
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting The Passage in the mail tomorrow! I have high hopes and can't wait to read it!
Like most here the quickest way to find out what I've reviewed is to look at my Blog: http://patriciasparticularity.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteIn terms of what I've read so far this summer, here is some: Knit Two, Friday Night Knitting Club, Vampire Diaries Book 1, 2 ,3 ,4 & Vampire Diaries The Return book 1, and many more.
I'm currently reading Vampire Diaries The Return book 2, Hearts at Stake, Austenland, & Leaving Paradise.
I've read quite a few books this summer (my definition of summer is broad, though, so maybe I haven't read as many as I think).
ReplyDeleteThe reads that stand out in my mind are:
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver http://derapsreads.blogspot.com/2010/07/book-review-before-i-fall-by-lauren.html

I've done a mix of my own post and a comment here. My update on what I've read in the past two weeks (since the kick-off of my first hosted challenge, the Summer Slimdown) is right here. But I read a lot more since June 23rd - Tyranny, Because I Am Furniture, Her Fearful Symmetry, Willow, and The Reader.

I have pages for the challenges I'm doing and I'm posting lots of reviews. I've really devoted myself to a reading summer and I've read 32 books since June 1. Two of my favorites are Ten Cents a Dance by Christine Fletcher for YA and The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova for adults. I really enjoy reading and posting with everyone. I didn't have a chance to do the heart throbs post, but I enjoyed reading all of your posts!
